I found this first program too lengthy for part-time workers to complete the exercises each week. If we did not get extention time many of us would not be able to finish it, besides do our regular departmental duties. For us older workers we need step-by-step printed instructions!
I did learn about blogging, library thing, Flickr, MySpace, Wiki, etc., but would try it on my own from time to time to see if I can get into more of a comfort zone in this new technology.

VBPL IM 12
I was not able to do the instant messaging because it was not available during my work hours. I cannot access it at home.
My Learning 2.0 Experience 29
From the very beginning it was challenging! With limited experience on the Internet sites and with many options has been confusing for me. With the help of a co-worker I was able to get through this experience. I felt much better with one person helping me through each step.
Library Thing 27
I found that it was easy to sign up for this site and a fun way to find what other people are reading and talking about their books. There is a wide range of interests for people to read and to discuss with other members who have the same passion.
Here is my library link.

Random Photo Browser 26
Browsing is a nice way to view picked photos. You can select anyone that you want to view you can pick the browser of the person and get more views of his photos.
Podcast in Libraries 25
I decided to listen to the Boulder Public Library a Teen Podcast. Several teens were describing how they started their project of torn paper portraits. This is another way that libraries who have teen programs can find out what other teens do in their libraries.
Podcast 24
Searched through the lists and picked animation. I went to the directory and picked one that I thought that was interesting to listen to.
Youtube 23
I chose the Learning 2.0 site where the librarian explained the program. It helped to learn about the ways the libraries can communicate to patrons all over the world and not just in your home town.
Flickr tagging 21
You have to tag your photos if you want other people to find your photos. You can also choose to tag specific people to see the photos and others do not. Tagging words allows other people to find what topics they are searching.

Web.20 Awards 19
I checked Fuzzmail but didn't like it. Then I went to One Sentence and found it to be very amusing. Some sentences were very funny, some quite sad, and others average.
Technorati 18
Searched for Learning 2.0 and viewed the video explaining about Web.20. I think the person explained the program very well and to try this new technology.
Delicious 17
Learned about tagging articles that you can retrieve by a list of many. You can find any link and bookmark it for easy access. You can also share them with others or privately.
Social Networking 15
I searched the teen council myspace and saw the different ways the library can use to contact people, get notices and upcoming events, besides individual contacts in their group.

Readers advisory
I think this was not a difficult entry to do. Everybody can add their comments, but on the negative side they can also delete the information.
